Dear Mr. Pack:
Enclosed are Volumes I sad 11 of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report filed by Pacific Gas and Electric Company for the proposed construction and operation of a pressurised unter nuclear reaeter at its Diablo Canyon site in San Luis Obispo County, California.
The proposed reactor is designed for initial operation at 3250 thermal megavetts.
We would appreciate receiving a report from the Air Resources Laboratory, ESSA, en the meteerelegical aspects of the proposed reacter location which might have a bearing upon our safety review.
On the basis of our tentative schedule for this project, it would be desirable to have your report available for our use by April 15, 1967.
