Hope Creek Generating Station License Change Request H98-02 j
Ultimate Heat Sink Temperature Limits PSE&G submitted the proposed change to the Hope Creek technical specification by letter to the NRC dated June 12, 1998.
The proposed change will:
1) increase operational flexibility during periods of elevated river water temperature, 2) maintain Ultimate Heat Sink operation within design and licensing basis requirements, and 3) reduce the need for required operator actions during periods of elevated river water temperatures.
Based on additional information gathered-at the July 29, 1998 meeting between the NRC and PSE&G on this subject and review of the information contained in the June 12, 1998 and June 25, 1998 PSE&G
' letters, the BNE has no comments on the proposed change.
