Standerfer to U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Conmission Docunent Control Desk, THI-2 Organization Plan - Revision 18. dated March 24, 1988 We have reviewed your proposed Revision No. 18 to the THI-2 Organization Plare. The proposed version, at the corporate level, creates a new Division of Quality Assurance, Training and Education. The quality assurance function is transferred to the newly crcated division from the existing Division of Quality and Fadiological Contro',s. The training and education function is transferred to the newly c.reeted division from the existing Division of Administration.

It is our understanding that the corporate reorganization dees not directly affect clean-up opsrations at TM1-2. The THI-2 organization remains a separate division within GPU Nuclear Corporation with its own engineering and technical support functions.

We find that the proposed revision will not climinate vital positions or functions within the TMI-2 organization, and it will not change the personnel qualification requiretrents far these positions. We therefore approve your proposed organization plan revision 10. The enclosed Figure 1-1, Rev. 18 should be substitutea for the existing Organization Plan Figure 1.1.
