ALLEGATIONS OF RECORDS FALSIFICATION AND OTHER QUESTIONABLE l
CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES On Monday morning, April 25, 1977, a man called the IE Headquarters staff in Bethesda and said that he wanted to give them information regarding questionable construction practices and falsification of records at North Anna. He stated that he could provide copies of documents attesting to his allegations.
The alleger was told that he would be contacted by our Region II office in Atlanta.
4 At 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 1977, four members of the Region II I
staff met with the alleger at the allegerb home near Orange, Virginia.
l~i The alleger furnished documents to support his claims.
Preliminary j
' review of some of the documents revealed nothing of safety significance.
A Region II investigation team is now at the site investigating the nd charges.
VEPCO has been informed of the allegations. An NRC news release is not planned at this time.
