I am writing to confirm the Babcock and Wilcox Owners Group (B&WOG) participation in a .
forthcoming briefing to the Commissioners of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The ,
briefing was originally scheduled for June 12,1998, and is currently scheduled for 2:00 - 3:30 I on September.15,1998, in the Commissioners' Conference Room on the first floor of the One White Flint buil: ling.
As discussed with you in May 1998, and as documented in a letter to you from Brian Sheron, Acting Assodate Director for Technical Review,- Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, dated May 15,1998, the purpose of the briefing is to inform the Commissioners about the Owners !
(Groups, their organization, budget, objectives, activities, recent successes, relationship with '
other Owners Groups, NEl, etc., and your presentations should address these areas as appropriate.
