PHILADELPHIA ELECTRIC COMPANY DOCKET NO. 50-352 LIMER'CK GENERATING STATION, UNIT 1 AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE Amendment No. 9 License No. NPF-39 1.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Comiss on) has found that A.
The submittals by Philtdelphia Electric Company (the licensee) dated December 1,1986 and December 7,1987 comply with the standards si1d requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act),
and the Comission's rules ard regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.
The facility will operate in confomity with the application, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the
(,ommi ssion; C.
There is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliar.ce with the Comission's regulations; D.
The issaance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comon defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The issuance of this amendment is ii1 accordarme with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Comission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.

Accordingly, paragraph 2.E of Facility Operating License No. NPF-39 is hereby amended to read as follows:
The licensee shall fully implement and maintain in effect all provisions of the Comission-approved physical, guard training and qualification, and safeguards contingency plans including amendments made pursuant to provisions of the Miscellaneous Amendments and Search Requirements revisions to 10 CFR 73.55 (51 FR 27817 and 27822) and to the authority of 10 CFR 50.90 and 10 CFR 50.54(p). The plails, which contain Safeguards Information protected under 10 CFR 73.21, are entitled:
"Limerick Generating Station Units 1 and 2 Physical Security Plan," with revisions submitted through December 7, 1987; 8808160390 880803 PDP ADOCK 05000352 P

"Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2, Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan," with revisions submitted through October 1, 1985; and "Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2, Safeguards Contingency Plan," with revisions submitted through November 15, 1986.
Changes made in accordance with 10 CFR 73.55 shall be implemented in accordance with-the schedule set forth therein.

This license amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
