TURBINE ORIVEN AFW PUMP RESPONSE TIME AND ACTUATION SIGNAL TESTING (TAC R00362/R00363) (TS 88-10) - SE000YAH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 tND 2 The Comission has issued the enclosed Anendment No. 77 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-77 and Amendment No.68 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-79 for the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, respectively.

These amendnents are in response to your application dated June 13, 1988.

The amendirents modify the Sequoyah Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications (TS) to revise the testing requirenents for the turbine driven auxiliary feedwater pu,1,ps (TDAFWP).

In addition, an outdated footnote is deleted. The changes are the ~

following:

(1) a footnote is added to Table 3.3-5, (2) a footnote is added to SurveillanceRequirement(SR)4.7.1.2.b.(3)anoutdatedfootnoteisdeleted from Table 3.3-5, and (4) the wording of the Unit 2 SR 4.7.1.2.b.2 is revised.

A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed.

Notice of Issuance will be included in the Comission's Bi-Weekly Federal _ Register Notice.
