This report provides an updated list (attached) of non-functional fire barriers reported in our December 26, 1985 Special Report 85-14, and identifies any non-functional fire barriers detected or created since that report which were not restored to functional status within seven (7) days.
The District has evaluated each non-functional fire barrier against the requirements of Technical Specification 3.14.6 and has verified that the proper fire watch has been established.
An updated status for each penetration program area is given h.the following:
1.
Electrical Penetrations - The first of thr. fire tests for conduit penetrations through cable trays resulted in a significant reduction in the number of remaining conduit breaches listed in previous reports. AJditional testing for the remaining conduit seals has oeen scheduled for February.
Breaches identified as surveillance items in the last report have been scheduled for a March 31, 1986, comple-tion date.
Work on the Bus Ducts remains scheduled for the next refueling outage.
