Dear Mr. Murleys Pursuant to 10CFR50.90, Commonwealth Edicon is hereby applying for an amendment to Facility Operating Licenses NPF-37 and NPF-66, Appendix A, Technical Specifications. The purpose of this amendment is to revise a tschnical specification action statement

concerning the ultimate heat sink. The particular action statement involves Rock River water flow. Attachment 1 contains the proposed change to action requirement 3.7.5.e and f. contains j
background information and justification for the proposed change.
The proposed technical specification change has been i
reviewed and approved by both Onsite and Offsite Review in accordance with Commonwealth Edison Company procedures. We have reviewed this amendment in accordance with 10CFR50.92(c) and determined that no significant hasards consideration exists.
Our evaluation is dccumented in Attachment 3.
Comonwealth Edison is notifying the State of Illinois of our application for this amendment by transmitting a copy of this letter and its attachments to the designated State Official.
In accordance with 10CFR170, a fee remittance in the amount of $150.00 is enclosed.
