In responsd to the recent Inquiries from the NRC regarding the RVP QAD models the following Information is enclosed for clarification:

o Revised Figure 5-1 of the SAR - The figure has been revised to include the inner and outer radil of the core baffle region. Notes 4 and 5 were also added to the 4

figul,e for edditional clarification of the assumptions used modeling the core beme and' core former regbns.

Revised Figure 5-2 of the SAR - The figure has been revised to include the core baffa dimensions.

QA@CGGP case input file VSLSOR5.INP. This is the vessel source model for the final shielding configuration with the detector locations'at 2 meters from the conf eyance. This model was used to provide the vessel dose rates in Table 5-7 of l

the SAR. This model input is typical of the geometry inputs used in all the final shielding models.

Plot Jre plot for geometry verification -The Pleture exe program from SCALE 4.3 was usep to generate an X-Z slice of the geometry input for verification purposes. A black and white printout of the color GIF file generated is attached.
