Units 1,2 and 3, Docket Nos. STN 50-528,-529,-530 Core Operating Limits Reports (COLRs), Uniti,2 and 3, Revisions 4,1 and 6, Respectively.

Pursuant to PVNGS Technical Specifications, Amendment 117, Section 5.6.5.d, enclosed are the COLRs for Units 1, 2 and 3, Revisions 4,1 and 6, respectively.

These revisions were made effective on August 13, 1998, coincident with the implementation of Amendment 117 of the PVNGS Technical Specifications.

The changes implemented by these revisions include changes that were required to implement Amendment 117 and that reduce the 100% power negative MTC limit. In addition, Revision 6 to the Unit 3 COLR decreases the Axial Shape Index (ASI) allowable limits of operation at reactor power levels greater than or equal to 50% with the Core Operating Limit Supervisory System (COLSS) operable and increases the Linear Heat Rate Limit to 13.1 kW/ft. These revisions replace the previous COLR for each respective unit in their entirety.

By copy of this letter and the enclosure, these COLR revisions are being provided to the NRC Region IV Administrator and the PVNGS Senior Resident inspector.
