CONSUMERS POWER COMPA!Y CORPORATE PERSONNEL AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANCES Due to the resignation of Joseph F Paquette, President and Chief Operating Officer of Consumers Power Company, the following personnel and organizational changes, which affect Senior Management responsible for the operation of our two nuclear plants, are provided.
Dr Frederick W Buckman replaces Joseph F Paquette as President and Chief Operating Officer of Consumers Power Company. Dr Buckman was previously Senior Vice President of Energy Supply for Consumers Power Company.
Gordon L Heins replaces Dr Buckman as Senior Vice President of Energy Supply.
Mr Heins was previously Vice President of Fossil and Hydro Operations for Consumers Power Company.
David P Hoffman has been named Vice President of Nuclear Operations reporting to the Senior Vice President of Energy Supply. Mr Hoffman was previously Palisades Plant General Manager.
Gerald B Slade replaces Mr Hoffman as Palisades Plant General Manager.
Mr Slade was previously Executive Director of Nuclear Assurance for Consumers Power Company.
Coincidental with these personnel changes, minor Nuclear Operations Department organizational changes have also been implemented. Mr Slade's previous department is being reorganized. The previous Director of Quality Assurance Support becomes the Director of Quality Assurance and reports directly to the Vice President of Nuclear Operations. Big Rock Point and Palisades Plants Consumers Power Company Corporate Reorganization April 19, 1988 Plant QA Director and the Big Rock Point Plant QA Superintendent, in addition to his previous direct reports. The Director of Nuclear Safety will also report directly to the Vice President of Nuclear Operations. The Corporate Health Physicist will report to the Director of Nuclear Safety. No other changes have been made to the other Vice President taf Nuclear Operations direct reports.
To reflect these changes, we request both NRC Headquarters and Region III revise their mailing lists as follows:
