Quad Cities Station Unit 1 Proposed Amendment to Technical Specification for Facility Operating License DPR Jet Pump Instrumentation NRC Docket No. 50-254
Dear Mr. Denton:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Commonwealth Edison proposes to amend Appendix A, the Technical Specification, to Facility Operating License DPR-29.
The proposed changes, enclosed in Attachment 1, modify the Technical Specification requirements for jet pump flow indication to reflect operation with a failed jet pump instrument line.
The proposed Technical Specification changes have received both On-Site and Off-Site review and approval. Our Safety Evaluation supporting the changes is provided in Attachment 2.
Je have reviewed this amendment request and find that no significant hazards cansideration exists as documented in Attachment 3.
Commonwealth Edise n is notifying the State of Illinois of our request for this amendment by i.ransmittal of a copy of this letter and its attachments to the designated State Official.
In accordance with 10 CFR 170, a fee remittance in the amount of
$150.00 is enclosed.
