Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letter of March 7,1988 in response to our Notice of
Violation and Inspection Report No. 50-312/87-37, dated February 16, 1988,
informing us of the steps you have taken to correct the items which we
brought to your attention. As discussed during telephone conversations with
Mr. S. Crunk of your staff on April 15 and 18,1988, we have considered your
request to combine the two violations into a single violation of Severity
Level V, and concluded that the Notice of Violation is appropriate as written.
Your corrective actions will be verified during a future inspection.
