CYCLE 4 RELOAD On April 7,1988, the NRC staff met with Union Electric Company (UE) and Westinghouse regarding the're3M J for Cycle 4.
At the meeting, the staff offered to provide feedback regarding the reviews of various Westinghouse topical reports (WCAP's) that UC would'like to reference in the reload applica-tion (scheduled for November 1,1988).,
WCAP-10851,. reghrding a revised fuel rori design methodology, is currently 6nder NRC review. Althosgh the staff expects its review to be complete in itne for your Cycle 4 reload, thit expectation cannot be guaranteed. However, the suff will' not be able to complete its review of the projected WCAP to addr'es e revised Vantage-5 DNB transition core penalty, currently scheduled for sutdidal in May 1988, in time for yuur Cycle 4 reload. Addi tionally, the-stMf Lill probably not be able to complete its review of WCAP-11394, regarding the elimination of the negative flux rate trip function, in time for your,yycle 4 reload.
