RANCHO SEC0 NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION (TAC NO. 55372)

The Com:nission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.99 to pacility Operating License No. DPR-54 for the Ranche Seco Nuclear Generating Station. This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated November 8,1985, as supplemented December 9,1986.

This amendment aads limiting conditions for operation and surveillance requirements associated with an automatic shunt trip attachment which was installed at Rancho Seco in response to Generic Letter 83-28.

A copy of our Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's biweekly Federal Reaister notice.
