Thank you for your letter, dated July 14, 1988, in response to our letter, dated June 16, 1988, which described a "Fitness for Duty" allegation involving the Byron Nuclear Generating Station.
Our review of your letter showed that an investigation had been initiated; that a detern.ination of potential impact on safety related equipment had been j
considered; and that the identified individual's quality of work had been reviewed. Based upon your review of the urinalysis test results, available criminal history information, behavioral observations, and review of work j
performed by the individual, we concur with your conclusion that the allegation was not substantiated. We have no further questions pertaining to this matter.
j In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Comission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
