Dear Mr. Graesser:
We have received the enclosed Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) correspondence received July 14,1997 transmitting the FEMA evaluation report for the April 16,1997 Emergency Preparedness Exercise at the Byron Nuclear Power Station.
No deficiencies were identified during the exercise. However, two Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA), and one planning issue were identified.
We fully recognize that any corrective actions to be implemented may involve parties and j
political institutions which are not under your direct control. Nonetheless, we expect that assistance, if appropriate, will be extended.
