We are reviewing your submittalidated April 25, 1984 concerning changes to the Maine Yankee Technical Specifications for low temperature overpressure protection.
The following information is needed to determine if your proposed Technical Specifications are acceptable.

1.
Detailed design information on the variable-set-point low temperature overpressure protection system.
This should include data on the numberandlocationofthe;detailsontheelectriccontrolsystem pressure and temperature sensors.
It should also intlude design, sufficient to establish that the single failure criteria is met.
2.
How it is known that at dCS pressrre of less than,375 psig. HPSI pump will always be aligned through_ the charging system flow restrictor?
We request that you provide this information within 30 days of your receipt of this letter. -
The information requested in this letter affects fewer than 10 respondents; therefore OMB clearance is not required under P.L.94-511.
