l Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, the Virginia Electric and Power Company requests amendments, in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications, to Operating Licenses NPF-4 and NPF-7 for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2, 4

respectively.

The proposed change is to clarify the current Technical j

Specifications regarding reactor coolant system leakage detection systems.

This change has been reviewed by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee and the Safety Evaluation and Contral staff.

It has been determined i

that the change does not involve an unreviewed safety question as defined in 10 CFR 50.59 er a significant hazards consideration as defined in 10 CFR 1

50.92.

Our basis for determining that no significant hazards consideration j

exists is contained in Attachment 2.

We have evaluated this request in accordance with the criteria of 10 CFR 170.

A voucher check in the amount of $150.00 is enclosed as an application fee.
