Response to NRC Bulletin 87-02, Supplements 1 and 2 Gentlemen:
In response to Reference (b), this letter provides two lists of suppliers or manufacturers from whom fasteners have or may have been purchased for Seabrook Station.
For the purposes of these lists, the term "fasteners' includes nuts, bolts, studs, threaded rod, anchor bolts and drop-in anchors. lists the approved vendors who provided or may have provided ferrous fasteners for safety-related applications at Seabrook Station.
This list was compiled from approved vendor lists applicable to Seabrook Station and represents our best effort to identify qualified fastener suppliers or manufacturers for the past ten years.
Some fasteners provided by these vendors were utilized in non-safety-related applications at Seabrook Station. lists the suppliers or manufacturers who provided commercial grade fasteners to Seabrook Station.
This list was compiled from purchase orders for fasteners and represents our best effort to identify suppliers or g
manufacturers of commercial grade fasteners for Seabrook Station during the past five years.
The purchase orders for commercial grade fasteners were identified by searching a computerized data base.
This search was not able to exclude non-ferrous fasteners or fasteners smaller than one quarter inch in diameter.
Therefore, Enclosure 2 may include vendors who supplied non-ferrous fasteners or fasteners smaller than one quarter inch in diameter.
Fasteners procurred from these vendors may have been utilized in safety or non-safety-related applications.
Those fasteners procurred as commercial grade items and subsequently utilized in safety-related applications were dedicated on-site for their particular use in accordance with station procedures.
