On March 13, 1987, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) submitted a request for license amendment, "Jet Pun.p Surveillance Requirements" for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP), Units 1 and 2 to revise Technical Specification 3/4.4.1.2, "Jet Pumps," and its associated bases. This request was supplemented on January 6,1988 and March 10, 1988 and affects Technical Specification Pages 3/4 4 2 and B 3/4 4-1 for both units.
On April 6, 1988, CP&L submitted a request for BSEP-1 and BSEP-2 that would correct Bases Page B 3/4 4-1.
Bases 3ections 3/4.4.2 and 3/4.4.3.1 were inadvertently deleted frorr. ? age B 3/4 4-1 via Amendments 113 and 141. This request would restore the information to its proper place.
Based on a conversation with the NRC Scaff on June 27, 1988, CP&L hereby submits revised Technical Specification B ues pages which combine the two requests referenced above. This will Llow the two requests to be issued together as a single amendment.
Enclosed are Technical Specification Bases Pages B 3/4 4-1, B 3/4 4-2, and B 3/4 4-3.
Bases Pages B 3/4 4-1 and B 3/4 4 -2 include the changes provided by both requests. No significant hazards consideration analysis is necessary because the Bases are only summary statements in support of the Technical Specifications and are not considered part of the actual Technical Specifications as provided in 10CFR50.36.
