This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. G. A. Pick and R. B. Vickrey
-of this office during-the period June 20-24, 1988, of activities authorized by
NRC Operating Licenses 05'-51 and NPF-6 for Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2,
and to the discussio" M . r f adings with members of your staff at the
conclusion of the ina.. Lien.

Areas examinad during the inspection included licensed operator training,
non-licensed staff training, 2nd quality control training program.
Within
these areas, the inspection con'.isted of selective examination of procedures
and representative reconds, intarviews with personnel, and observations.by the
inspectors. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection
report.
Within the~ scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identified.-
-We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to previously
identified inspection findings. The status of these items is identified in
paragraph 2 of the enclosed report.
