This refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. W. Martin of
this office on March 14 - 17, 1988 at the Haddam Neck Nuclear Power Plant of
activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-61 and to the discussions of our
findings held by Mr. Martin with Mr. D. Miller and other members of your staff
at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Occument Room.
