NOTICE OF VIOLATION Philadelphia Electric Company Docket No. 50-278 Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station License No. OPR-56 During a routine NRC resident inspection conducted on February 6 to March 11, 1988, a violation was identified in accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy (10 CFR 2, Appendix C).
The particular violation is set forth below:

Contrary to the above, at approximately 7:00 p.m., on February 20, 1988, an unlocked and unattended vehicle was parked in a Unit 3 vital area.
This is a Severity Level IV violation (Supplement III).
Pursuant to the provision of 10CFR 2.201, Philadelphia Electric Company is hereby required to submit to this office within thirty days of the date of the letter which trusmitted this Notice, a written statement or explanation in i
reply, including:
(1) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (2) corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations; and (3) the date when full compliance will be achieved. Where good cause is shown, consideration will be given to extending this response time.
