This refers to the inspection conducted by Messrs. A.~Singh and E. Hildebrand 1

.of this office-during the period February 22-26, 1988,- of activities authorized ,

by NRC Operating License DPR-34 for the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating

Station, and to the. discussion of.our findings with Mr. P. F. Tomlinson and ,

other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. '

Areas examined during the inspection. included the fire protection / prevention

program and the implementation. Within these areas, the inspection consisted

of selt-tive examination of procedures and representative records, interviews

with personnel, and observations'by the NRC inspectors. The inspection  :

findings are documented in the enclosed inspection report. j

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.
