Dear Mr. Murley:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Comonwealth Edison proposes to amend Appendix A, Technical Specifications to Facility Operating License DPR-30.
In Reference (a), Comonwealth Edison luformed you of a Detailed Control Room Design Review (DCRDR) Human Factors modification which affected the Quad Cities Station Unit 2 Technical Specifications. As part of the Unit 2 Spring 1988 Refueling Outage, 6.he drywell temperature indicator was relocated.
It was indicated in Reference (a), that a Technical Specification correcting the instrument location would be submitted by July 15, 1988. This proposed amendment is being submitted in response to that comitment. Additionally, this amendment includes corrections to panel numbers for instrument readout locations. The changes are listed in Attachment 1 and further described in.
The proposed changes have been reviewed and approved by both On-Site and Of f-Site rev.lew in accordance with Comonwealth Edison Company procedures.
We have reviewed these proposed amendments in accordance with 10 CFR 50.92(c)

and determined thst no significant hazards consideration exist. This evaluation is documented in Attachment 3.
Comonwealth Edison is notifying the State of Illinois of our application for this amendment by transmitting a copy of this letter and its attachment to the designated State Official.
