.This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by M. Dev of this office
on June 1 - 3, 1988, at the Limerick Generating Station, Unit-1, Limerick,
Pennsylvania of. activities aui.horized by NRC License NPF-39 and to.the discussions of
our findings held by M. Dev with Mr. J. Doering of your staff at the conclusion-
of the . inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
-
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted:of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by' the inspector. Our
inspector also verified the steps you had taken to correct the violation
brought to your attention in a letter dated November 12, 1987. We have no
'further questions regarding your action on this matter at this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
However,
your attention is warranted to the completion of the review of NRC
,
Generic Letters (discussed in paragraph 3.3.1).
It appears that no
documentation was available to demonstrate that certain Generic Letters were
evaluated and that appropriate actions were implemented.
No response.to this letter is required.
