Assessment of the NRC Construction inspection Program at River Bend. The enclosure is titled: Review of the NR C Reactor Construction Inspection Program at River Bend.
Page 29, item 5.6.3 IE Assessment of Regional Performance states:
"The NRC program offices are required to assesc regional office performance in their areas of responsibility on a periodic basis.
Regional inspection programs were periodically assessed by the IE Division of Inspection Programs. A memorandum from J.G.
Partlow, Director, Division of Inspection Programs, IE, to Mesos.
Denise and Bangart, Division Directors, Region IV, dated June 26, 1985, described the annual assessment of regional inspection activities."
Please put a copy of the Jw 26,1985 memorandum described above in the PDR. Also, please make available in the PDR all periodic Regional inspection program assessment reports that have been written since 1980.
