Dear Mr. Regan:

In accordance with your February 7,1977 letter of approval of our proposed nonradiological preoperational monitoring program, attached are 10 copies of the results of the July 1978 through June 1979 continuing interim study for Catawba Nuclear Station.

By copy of this letter, we are sending six copies of the results of this interim monitoring study to Argonne National Laboratory, Attention: Charles Luner.

There have been no modifications to the study, sampling techniques, or anal-ysis techniques f rom those p'reviously submitted. The continuing interim study has indicated no distinct changes in the water quality of Lake Wylie in the last year.

Please advise us of any comments or questions you may have regarding this continuing study.
