Dear Mr. Russell:
Enclosed for filing with the Commission are an original and six copies of Philadelphia Electric Company's Application for Special Nuclear Material License for Limerick Generating Station Unit No.
2.
This Application requests a license authori:ing the Company to receive, possess, store, use and deliver to a carrier for shipment certain special nuclear naterial contained in instruments to be utilized at Limerick Unit 2.
It is anticipated that the instrumentation for which a license is being requested will be ready for shipment to the Limerick site at the end of 1987 In accordance with Section 170.12 of the Commission's regulations there is enclosed Philadelphia Electric's check no.
07076549 dated October 22, 1987 in the amount of $.150.00 to cover the filing fee for this application.
