In your letter dated December 14, 1987, you submitted a topical report ANF-87-139, "Extended Burnup Report for Fort Calhoun Reloads XN-4 and XN-5 (Batches K and L)", for Fort Calhoun.. The staff has completed its review of this report and concludes that the extended burnup of Batches K and L for Fort Calhoun is acceptable. of this letter transmits the staff's Safety Evaluation of this report.
