Subject:

Modified Amended Security Plan Attached is the latest revision of the Yankee Rowe Modified .\ mended Security Plan (MASP) . This revision includes changes developed to meet the NRC comments regarding our NASP submitted June 9,1978, Reference (b) .

We have arbitrarily called these comments " Phase 3 Questions" and so marked the revised MASP cover page. We have identified the changes with a vertical line on the right side of the pages. The first change appears on page 17 of the plan. The revised MASP is considered proprietary information and shall be withheld f rom public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR Section 2.790.

Upon acceptance by the NRC of the revised MASP the current Security Plan Ref erence (d) will be phased out. While completing the changes required to implement the revised MASP the level of security will not be reduced below that of the current Security Plan. The transition to meet the requirements of the approved MASP will be made as soon as practical.
