RECEIPT OF SUPPLEMENT TO PETITION FILED BY THE GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT - SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT, UNIT 1 This letter is to acknowledge receipt of a letter dated February 12, 1988 filed by the Government Accountability Project (GAP) requesting an explanation of investigations conducted by the NRC staff on allegations related to the South Texas Project. The concerns expressed in that letter are similar to those raised in your earlier Petition dated January 26, 1988.
You were informed by letter dated February 29, 1988 that a Director's Decision under 10 CFR 2.2C6 will be provided in response to the January 20, 1988 petition.
Your February 12, 1988 letter will be treated as a supplement to your Petition, and the issues raised will be addressed in that Director's Decision.
