The Commission was briefed by representatives of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and the NRC staff on the status of Sequoyah Unit 2.

Raleigh The Commission requested the staff to report to the Commission on the final resolution of the remaining restart issues (i.e.,
Hicks and Bartlik allegations, TVA's root cause analyses and corrective action programs, and all open items requiring resolution prior to restart as identified in the draft SER dated February 17, 1988) and a recommendation on restart of Sequoyah Unit 2.
