Resident Inspection 50-245/88-02 (1/1/88 to 2/8/88)
This refers to the above subject inspection of Millstone Unit 1 by Mr. W. Raymond
and Ms. L. Kolonauski of this office.
The inspection findings are described in
the enclosed report and were discussed with Mr. J. Stetz of your staff. No viola-
tions were cited, and no reply tu this letter is required.
One matter which may require additional management attention is procedural adher-
ence. This report discusses three separate incidents attributable to failure to
follow established procedures (Sections 7.0 through 9.0).
Although no enforcement
action has been taken because the licensee identified and reported the events in
accordance with the requirements of the regulations and took appropriate and timely
corrective actions, procedural adherence is important and will receive additional
inspection attention.
