The information provided.in your letter dated April 14, 1988, regarding Action Item e of IE Bulletin 85-03 was found to be deficient in some areas. Please provide the additional information necessary to address the following comments:
Your response dated April 14, 1988, to our request for additional information (RAI) dated March 17, 1988, Question 3(a), reads as follows:
"a)M0V'sXSI0001A,B,andCareexcludedbecausetheydonotoperate during the safety injection phase of emergency core cooling."
Revise the response to RAI Question 3(a) to comply with the bulletin requirement to assume inadvertent equipment operations of these valves, which are located in suction lines from the RWST to the three HHSI pumps. Note that these valves are shown as HV-8923-A and -B on page 25 of the WOG report of March 1986. Also note that these valves establish flowpaths from the RWST to the RCS, as portions of the HPI systems defined-on page 3 of 28 of the W0G Report.
