Dear Mr. Idraglia:

Generic Letter 88-02 (dated January 20, 1988) requested information from Philadelphia Electric Company concerning our potential interest in participating in the Integrated Safety Assessment Program II (ISAP II).

As a part of this request, a response to a survey contained in the Generic Letter was to be completed.

The information requested was supplied to the contact (Melanie Miller) identified in the Generic Letter by W. C. Birely, (PECo) during a February 22, 1988 telecon.

Enclosed is the response to the survey.

A copy of the survey has been telecopied to the Nuclepr Regulatory Commission contact.

Based on our limited knowledge of the ISAP II program, Philadelphia Electric Company would be interested in participating in an industry /NRC seminar which would enhance our knowledge of the i

benefits the program and aid us in our decision to participate in ISAP l

II.

l We welcome and additional information concerning ISAP II which would further our understanding of the program.

Very truly yours, cc:
