Supplement to License Amendment Application to Delete the Technical Specification and Basis Section on Chlorine Detection Systems (TAC No. 66734).
Gentlemen:
On January 15, 1988 (Serial No. 1457), Toledo Edison submitted a License Amendment Application to Delete Technical Specification and Basis Section 3/4.3.3.7, Chlorine Detection Systems.
In addition to those proposed changes, Toledo Edison requests deleting the phrase "Control Room Ventilation Air Intake Chlorine Concentration - High test signal" from Surveillance Requirement 4.7.6.1.e.2, of Technical Specification 3/4.7.6, Control Room Emergency Ventilation System, as shown on the attached Technical Specification pages. This request was inadvertently left out of the License Amendment Application submittal; however, because this is a duplicate requirement, the Safety Evaluation and the Significant Hazards Consideration will not be affected by this additional request. Therefore, Toledo Edison requests this change be included with the Chlorine Detection Systems Technical Specification Amendment and Basis Change.
This letter provides supplemental information to our January 15, 1988 application, therefore no fee per 10CFR170.12(c) is incurred.
