CRYSTAL RIVER NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT UNIT 3 - OPERABILITY EVALUATION OF MAIN STEAM SYSTEM WITH BENT R0D HANGERS (TAC NO. M95788)
Dear Mr. Beard:
On May 10, 1996, you discovered, during a routine wa'lkdown, two bent rod hangers on two main steam systems, CR-5 and CR-6, at Crystal River, Unit 3.
On June 12, 1996, you replaced the bent rod hangers with straight rod hangers.
You performed an operability evaluation of this condition and by letter dated August 7,1996, you submitted to the NRC staff the results of your analyses.
We have reviewed your analyses and find them acceptable.
The attached safety evaluation documents our conclusion.
