VISIT BY UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY ON FEBRUARY 11, 1988 Al Passwater, Manager of Licensing and Fuels at Callaway, has expressed an interest in meeting with you on the af ternoon (around 3:30 PM) of February 11, 1988 for a short chat. Al did not mention any topic of discussion, however, I suspect he may want to discuss the status of the uprating review.
Regarding the uprating review, SPLB has recently taken the position that they cannot complete their uprating review until the main-steam-line-break-outside-

containment-with-superheated-steam review is completed. The superheat review has one open item, regarding questionable qualification of the MSIV/MFIV control cable, wiring and lugs. However, if this open item is resolved quickly
( a conference call is planned for today), the superheat review should not impact the issuance of the uprating amendment.
