Docket'No. 50-443
Employee's Legal Project
ATTN: Ms. Sharon Tracy
-Director
Post Office Box 633
Amesbury, Massachusetts 01913
Dear Ms. Tracy:
This refers to your letter to me dated September 8,1987 and to your: telephone
conversation with Tom Elsasser on September 17, 1987, regarding your planned
response to NRC Inspection Report 50-443/87-07.
I understand that we should
expect to receive 'your response in approximately 4 to 6 weeks and that you
agree that our meeting in King of Prussia - should be . held as soon as possible
- after we have assessed any additional clarifications- or. concerns that you may
have. ' After our receipt of your response, Tom Elsasser will contact you to
arrange that meeting.
Regarding the letter from Robin Read dated July 28, 1987, which offers to set
up a telephone interview with a former Seabrook Station ' employee, we have con-
cluded that, based on the information provided by the letter, the specificity
'
of that information and on the ~ information we expect should be available
onsite, we should be able to sufficiently review and disposition the concerns
without further interview of the individual. Our review of this matter will be
documented in a routine resident inspection report, which we will provide to
you upon issuance.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter, especially regarding the offer
of the interview. . We trust our actions will be responsive to your concerns and
those of the individual involved.
