Reference Materials for Requalification Program Evaluation In response to your letter of July 30, 1987, Docket No. 50-29, the following materials have been mailed to you under separate covert YAEC Procedures with Indexes: 0000 - 9999 Plant System Prints Radiation Protection Procedures (0800 - 0810 series)
- 1986 & 1987 R0/SRO Audit Exams Data Reference Manual D9.13 Emergency Plant
- 21 Technical Specifications: #5-32 Long and Short Term Special Orders Lesson Plans and Learning Objectives (see comments below)
As stated in your letter, one of the intents of the evaluation is to assess the effectiveness of the implementation of our segmented licensed operator requalification training program.
Therefore, lesson plans for our first regrant are enclosed, except for vortexing and the second plant modifications traloing.
These lesson plans, which are near completion, will be mailed by September 25, 1987, with the second segment lesson plans bringing the training material you requested up to your Noveaber 9, 1987, evaluation date.
The lesson plan for the first plant modifications, or Pre-Startup Training Program, is being sent which addresses an NRC concern. This training was provided in June prior to startup. The Systems Training Manual update is almost complete, at which time the Pre-Startup Training Manual will be cancelled and the revised Systems Training Manual vill be shipped.
Another lesson plan is also being developed for significant modifications in Pre-Startup Training scheduled to be taught again in our second segment. This lesson plan will be sent with the updated Systems Training Manual.
