CALIFORNIA LICENSEE--SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO INFORMATION NOTICE 95-58 This exemption request was cubmitted to our office in response to NRC Information Notice 95-58, which advised licensees to submit exemption requests

to 10 CFR 34.20 by January 1, 1996.

i As Industrial Nuclear Co., Inc. is not a Region IV licensee, this matter should be coordinated with the Office of State Programs and with the Source Containment and Devices Branch.

The State of California is actively pursuing this matter and plans to issue an amended registry sheet by January 10, 1996.
