This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. R, L Hague
and R. J. Leeman of this office from December 15, 1987 through January 31,
1955. of activities at Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, authorized by
hRC Cperating Licenses No. DPR-24 and No. OPR-27 and to the discussion of our
findings with J. J. Zach at the conclusion of the inspt*ction.
The enclosed ccpy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during the
inspection.
Within these areas, the inspection Consisted of a selective
eastination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
intervieas with personnel.
No violations of NRC requirements .ere identified during the course of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this
letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC Public
Dccu ent Room,
