OPERATOR EXAMINATION REPORT NOS. 50-317/94-32 AND 50-318/94-31

On October 19, 1994, the NRC administered simulator retake examinations to two
l
senior reactor operator (SR0) candidates who had applied for licenses to
operate the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2.
The
examinations were conducted in accordance with Revision 7 to NUREG-1021,
)
" Operator Licensing Examiner Standards." At the conclusion of the
_
-
examinations, the preliminary findings were discussed with Mr. Nietmann and
those members of your staff identified in the report.
Final results of the examination are that both candidates passed their
simulator retake SR0 examinations and were issued SRO licenses. The-
performance of both candidates was strong during both simulator scenarios,
j
especially in the communications area.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this
letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
