Catawba Nuclear Station, Unit 2 Docket No. 50-414 Special Report Concerning a Diesel Generator 2B Invalid Failures on January 15, 1988 Gentlemen:
Please be advised that submittal of a Special Report concerning three' January 15, 1988 invalid failures of Unit 2 Diesel Generator 2B will be delayed until February 29, 1988. Submittal of this report was originally scheduled for January 12, 1988.. The extension is required to allow Duke Power personnel in charge of the investigation sufficient time to review the failures. This event is reportable pursuant to Technical Specification 3/4.8.1.1.3 and 6.9.2.
