This will acknowledge receipt of your letter dated October 31, 1987 and your check for $200,000 in full payment for the civil penalty proposed by the NRC in a letter dated September 4, 1987.
Your response addressed corrective actions for violations cited in our letters of September 4 and October 1, 1987.
These actions will be examined during future inspections.
The items noted in our October 1, 1987 letter are considered to be additional examples of physical barrier violaticrs cited in the Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties issued in September.
Since your response covered corrective actions for these items as well as those identified earlier, rc additional response is necessary.
