Inspection No. 50-354/87-27
A routine radiological controls inspection was performed by Mr. R. L. Nimitz
of this office on November 16-18 and 20,1987 at the Hope Creek Generating
Station.
The findings of the inspection were discussed with Mr. S. LaBruna.
The inspection covered previous findings, audits, radiological controls for
new fuel receipt _and inspection, process and area radiation monitor
surveillance, sealed source control and ALARA.
One licensee identified
violation involving failure to perform leak checks of sealed sources was
reviewed with respect to the criteria for non-issuance of a Notice of
Violation described in 10 CFR Part 2.
All criteria were met.
No other
violations were identified.
