Your letter dated January 22, 1988 forwarded the subject
Inspection Report for Peach Bottom Units 2 and 3 and required a
response by February 22, 1988.
On February 22, 1988, W. C.
Birely of Philadelphia Electric Company discussed with Mr. J.
Linville of Region I, NRC the need for an additional four days
to complete this response.
Appendix A of your letter
identified two activities which did not appear to comply with
the Commission's regulations.
These apparent violations are
restated below, followed by Philadelphia Electric Company's
response.
In accordance with Section 2.790 and Section 73.21
of the Commission's regulations, it is hereby requested that
this response be withheld from public disclosure.
An affidavit
